Overview

Like their normal forms, Mega Gengar can assume the shapes of shadows and silhouettes. They even seem to prefer remaining this way, staying grounded as opposed to floating like regular Gengar do; some say they enter another dimension in these forms, filling them with strange energy. Mega Evolution has opened third eyes in these Pokémon that allow them to see into other dimensions, striking fear into the hearts of onlookers. By zooming around on the ground as shadows at incredible speeds, they can cut off fleeing foes and nail them with incredibly powerful Ghost-type moves. Mega Gengar are said to not feel any emotions other than twisted, unbridled glee when chasing down their victims. It is said they may even try to curse their trainers in this state, with Mega Evolution having distorted their senses of recognition.

Can Mega Evolve from Gengar
