Overview

Mega Charizard X are one of two Mega Evolutions Charizard can Mega Evolve into. These Pokémon swap out their Flying-typing for the Dragon-typing upon Mega Evolution; additionally, they become strikingly black-and-blue in coloration, and their flames similarly glow a similar electric blue. These flames are much hotter than those of regular Charizard, hence their altered hues. Mega Charizard X possess much harder claws than their normal forms, allowing them to attack with powerful physical attacks. They prefer to attack enemies from close quarters as opposed to Mega Charizard Y's ranged abilities.
